The MINMAX MTQZ75 series represents a groundbreaking 75-watt DC-DC converter designed for high-performance applications in railway settings. The series is designed in a quarter brick size according to international standards, featuring fully encapsulated potting assembly to resist external environmental interference. Two widely accepted input voltage ranges are offered: 72 (43-101)VDC and 110 (66-160)VDC, with a total of 8 selectable models providing precise output voltages of 5/12/15/24. All models comply with railway certification standards EN 50155 and EMC standards EN 50121-3-2. The MTQZ75 series employs advanced circuit topology, achieving up to 92% overall efficiency. It maintains stable electrical performance even in dynamically changing environments. With an optimized thermal design, the series supports a wide temperature range from -40°C to +85°C. For customers concerned about thermal performance, dedicated heat sink options are also provided. Other features include 3000VAC isolation withstand, reinforced insulation system, remote on/off control, output voltage trimming, and output voltage remote sensing, offering customers greater flexibility in design. To withstand harsh railway environmental conditions, the MTQZ75 series has undergone reliable testing according to standards such as EN 61373 for vibration and shock/bump, IEC/EN 60068-2-1, 2, 30 for cooling, dry & damp heat, and EN 45545-2 for fire protection. The very small footprint makes this product the ideal solution for many applications where a voltage has to be isolated i.e for noise reduction, ground loop elimination, in digital interfaces or where a converted voltage is required. An excellent efficiency allows an operating temperature range of –40℃ to +90℃. With a new package design these converters are fully qualified for the higher temperature profile used in lead-free reflow solder processes. For automated SMD production lines the product can be supplied in tape & reel package.
